Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in maximizing sales volume and gross margin for all product lines within our Digital Transformation and Content Services Business Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving the territory sales plan while fostering goodwill and enhancing the Teknita brand among all customers and potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the digital transformation and content services arena.

– Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

– Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.

– Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

– Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.

– Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.

– Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.

– Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

– Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.

– Forecast and track key account metrics including account and territory planning.

– Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.

– Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations as needed.

Qualifications:

– Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.

– Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.

– Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.

– Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

– Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

– Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

– BA/BS degree or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

– Experience in sales within the digital transformation and content services sector.

– Strong understanding of the industry and its current events.

– Technical proficiency and an ability to understand and explain complex products.

Working Conditions:

– This position may require 50% travel.

– Standard office hours apply, with flexibility as needed to meet business demands.
